UX Design Engineer
This position is responsible for providing expertise and leadership in website and web application user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) coding and design. Duties include developing enterprise-level UI guidelines and best practices, developing and coding templates and other design assets, supporting website and application project teams in the development of new products, fostering an environment of continuous improvement by adopting user-centered design principles and supporting the operation of agency websites and web applications. The incumbent will provide guidance to business partners and IT resources with his/her expertise in design to ensure usability and positive user experience for members, employers and agency staff.
Salary Range: $69,697 - $114,568 annually

Disability Coordinator
This position exists to service the agency and ultimately the public by researching, coordinating, and administering assigned programs in the field of pensions. Serving as knowledge expert for internal and external stakeholders the incumbent will:
• Calculate, interpret, and administer disability offsets
• Coordinate and administer all aspects of disability offsets, duty determinations, and disability appeals
• Conduct research, interpret and apply case law to determine agency needs or issues
• Render and document determinations and resolutions
• Identify and recommend changes to procedure, policy, and/or statute
• Present cases at board meetings or other legal hearings
This position also plays a critical role in providing expertise in the identification, planning, creation, and training of process improvement opportunities. As well as working in partnership with staff to assure they are informed and have the necessary knowledge and tools to perform their position to the fullest.
Salary Range: $67,651 - $99,722 annually

Document Management Services Lead
Under limited supervision, this position directs, prioritizes, and guides department work activities to provide administrative support of the agency’s benefit application processing and technology resources that receive, store, track, search, retrieve, and utilize data necessary for the management of all member account records. The incumbent applies expert knowledge to resolve both routine and complex situations and develop procedures and guidelines that control the activities of PERA’s Document Management Services (DMS) team. Collects, analyzes, and reports program activity data, develops budget requests, and implements process changes or actions to improve data integrity.
Salary Range: $50,362 - $67,943 annually

Member Service Representative
This position exists in PERA’s member call center to deliver PERA benefit information and respond to stakeholder inquiries of a routine nature, either by phone, in person or in writing, explaining the PERA benefits and options that will meet their financial goals and needs, and helping them understand the value of retirement planning specific to PERA benefits.
In addition, the incumbent in this position may perform routine and some manual calculations; some calculations will be audited.
Salary Range: $50,070 - $72,432 annually
