Financial Reporting Manager/Accounting Director

PERA is currently seeking an Financial Reporting Manager/Accounting Director in the Accounting and Finance Division.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage daily operations pertaining to PERA’s financial reporting and risk management functions,
  • Accurate financial reporting including but not limited to PERA’s Annual Comprehensive Financial Report and Governmental Accounting Standards Board, Statement 68 Schedules,
  • Review actuarial valuation reports, and
  • Engage with the management team to evaluate, define, plan, and implement initiatives and best practices to improve financial management.

Accounting Officer Senior

PERA is currently seeking an Accounting Officer Senior in the Accounting and Finance Division.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supports key financial operations for Minnesota’s Public Employee Retirement Association (PERA), and is a
  • Lead worker for deposits, annuity payments, tax reporting, serving as initial point of contact for questions from other departments and resolving complex financial issues.

Employer Services Account Technician

PERA is currently seeking an Accounting Technician in the Account Information Management Division.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide one-on-one technical direction, training, and guidance to participating employers via phone and email.
  • Analyze salary, contribution and employment data reported to PERA’s Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution plans by participating employers.
  • Reconcile discrepancies in member and employer records, salary deduction reports, and payments.
  • Ensure compliance with PERA contribution and plan program requirements as mandated by law, policy and procedures.
