Live Webinars for DCP Members

PERA is now offering live webinars for Defined Contribution Plan (DCP) members. This educational program reviews the plan in detail, including the enrollment process, investment options, and withdrawal guidelines.

The DCP differs from other plans at PERA; while PERA’s pension plans are hands-off retirement plans that provide members with lifetime monthly benefits, PERA’s DCP is an optional plan that allows members to make investment decisions with their contributions. The member’s future payment is based on the amount of contributions plus investment performance and is paid as a one-time lump sum. PERA’s DCP is also separate from the Minnesota Deferred Compensation Plan (MNDCP).

This educational program is intended only for those eligible for DCP membership at PERA. Eligibility is exclusive to physicians, elected local governmental officials, city managers, and emergency service personnel.
