PERA Receives GFOA Certificate

The Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) has awarded PERA the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for the 2019 Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR). This is the 27th consecutive year PERA has received this certificate, which is the highest form of recognition for accounting in the public sector. In order to receive this certificate, the ACFR must meet the program standards, and fully and clearly communicate PERA’s financial story.
