Human Resources Specialist

This position will serve in a small agency as a part of a three-person Human Resources team, administering professional level personnel administrative functions. This includes recruitment, selection, classification and compensation. The incumbent will complete HR transaction processing and new employee orientation and provide benefits and retirement benefits assistance and leave management assistance to PERA staff.

This position is approved for telework based on the needs of the agency and other dependencies. Position will primarily telework with the need to be on site and in office as scheduled. PERA’s office is located in St. Paul, MN.

Only candidates located in Minnesota and bordering states (Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, or Wisconsin) are telework eligible.
